City Clerk’s Office Open Late Tuesdays Leading up to State Primary Election

Beginning Tuesday, August 4, 2026, and lasting through Tuesday, September 1, 2026 the Office of the City Clerk will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesdays to provide additional availability to anyone wishing to register to vote and/or request an absentee ballot leading up to the September 8, 2026 State Primary Election.

Between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. the City Clerk’s Office will be open for all regular business, including voter registration and absentee ballot requests. Between 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the office will be open for voter registration and absentee ballot purposes only.

Anyone wishing to register to vote is reminded that they must present proof of age, identity, domicile, and citizenship at the time of registration. More information about how to register to vote in Manchester and what documentation proves each qualification can be found here on our website.

Additionally, any voters needing to request an absentee ballot must present a qualified photo ID at the time of their request.

  • August 25, 2026, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • September 1, 2026, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
