The City of Manchester Parks, Recreation, and Cemetery Division would like to inform residents that the municipal tennis courts at Livingston Park will be temporarily closed from Wednesday, July 8, 2026, through Tuesday, July 28, 2026. This closure allows for extensive crack repair and repainting. As part of this project, one of the three tennis courts will receive blended pickleball lines, allowing the court to serve both tennis and pickleball while preserving the existing regulation tennis lines. The blended layout places two pickleball courts perpendicular to the tennis net, one on each side. Players who wish to use the pickleball courts may bring and set up their own portable pickleball nets.
The project will include:
- Comprehensive crack repair and crack suppression treatments
- Surface preparation and court resurfacing
- Application of new acrylic color coatings
- Repainting of regulation tennis court lines
- Installation of blended pickleball lines on one tennis court
During this period, the courts will be closed to the public. No foot traffic, tennis play, pickleball play, or other activities will be permitted on the courts while repairs are underway and the new court surface cures. These closures are necessary to ensure the quality and longevity of the improvements.
The Parks, Recreation, and Cemetery Division thanks the community for their patience and help as we work to keep Livingston Park’s tennis facilities safe, high-quality, and fun for everyone.
