Update:- GMI Asphalt LLC, the contractor for the Department of Public Works (DPW), will begin pavement milling on Pine Street , between Bridge Street and Webster Street, starting on Wednesday , July 9, 2025 through Friday, July 11, 2025, between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
The project includes adjustments to manholes and catch basins, as well as pavement milling and paving. The reconstruction is expected to take approximately +/- 6 weeks, depending on weather conditions.
During the construction period, the road will be reduced to a single lane for through traffic, and parking will be prohibited during construction hours. Access to key business locations will be maintained throughout the project.
Travelers are encouraged to use Union Street as an alternate route. Please follow posted detour signs and allow extra time for potential delays.
Please plan your activities accordingly and avoid the construction zone if possible. While we aim to minimize disruptions, be prepared for possible delays and limited access to properties in the area.
