Readers of all ages will explore fun and exciting events this summer as Manchester and West Manchester City Library presents our "Unearth a Story @Your Library" summer library program. The 2026 kids Summer Reading Program is open to young people, preschool through 5th grade. Families are invited to join the Read to Me portion of the program. We have set a group goal of 3,000 hours to be read during the 8-week program. Will you help us meet our goal? Registration for "Unearth a Story" begins on Monday, June 1st. We will be using an online program, READsquared to register, track your hours by entering minutes, earn pins, badges and win prizes. Don't forget to pick up your summer reading bag which will include a lanyard with a registration pin, sticker, bookmark, a paper log, program calendar with READsquared app instructions.
