End Time:07/25/2025 3:30 PM

Location:Main Library

Manchester City Library is proud to be partnering with local historian Stan Garrity for another walk through Manchester's forgotten history. This time we'll be exploring Manchester's West Side to learn about the people who called it home, the 1936 flood that destroyed the bridges connecting both sides, a zoo, and much more! Stan is a noted local historian and Manchester native who has worked closely with the Manchester Historic Association, City Hall, and the Library to research the forgotten aspects of Manchester's history. The event will start on the main floor of the West Branch Library at 1:30 PM. From there, we will follow a 2–mile, planned route with plenty of stops to talk about the historical importance of each site and answer questions. For questions, call Nic Young at 603-624-6550 x7620 or email nyoung3@manchesternh.gov
